This August, Lytham Gallery is delighted to present a new body of work by artist Derek Boak.

Known for his atmospheric and expressive approach to painting, Derek creates works that are deeply rooted in a sense of place, mood and emotion. His paintings invite the viewer to look beyond the immediate subject, capturing not simply what a landscape or scene looks like, but how it feels. Through expressive mark-making, evocative colour and a distinctive sensitivity to light and atmosphere, Derek transforms his inspiration into paintings that are both powerful and deeply immersive.
